I am writing this testimonial for Mrs. Lisa Barros, a realtor with Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty.
Last year, some friends of ours purchased property in Bethany Beach. They wanted us to come and see their condo in case we might also be interested in buying beach property. We only had a few hours to visit them and the area because we were on our way home from vacation elsewhere. At the time, we were just looking and weren’t real serious buyers. When we arrived at Bethany Beach, we drove around to get our bearings and see what the area had to offer, as well as, looked for communities where we might be interested in buying.
In touring the area, we visited several open houses and new developments. In one of the open houses, Lisa Barros was the agent representing the property. She was really quite pleasant and very patient with all the questions we had and was very knowledgeable about the area. While we liked the property and community where she was holding the open house, it wasn’t quite what we were interested in. She suggested some other areas that we might wish to look at and offered to send us listings based on the information we gave her about what we were looking for. We returned home and began our own search for properties, and in the meantime, Mrs. Barros almost immediately began forwarding listings of properties for us to look at. When we were ready to see some real estate we called Mrs. Barros. She was very eager to start the process with us, and show us some properties.
After several visits to the area, we finally found our condo. Many thanks to Mrs. Barros who really worked hard for us in negotiating and finalizing the contract. It was a long process since there was some back and forth between us and the seller, but Mrs. Barros was always on the job and available to you 24/7. We had the utmost confidence that she always had our best interests in mind. She is very friendly, pleasant to deal with, and above all extremely professional. Because of her efforts, we had a very positive experience.
